Rate Card Search, Compareisons and Contacting Media Publishers
Our rate card service has a wide selection of various rate cards from internet and print media publishers around the globe. You can search these rate cards by subject area, region, media type, contact volumes, and reader/visitor profiles, and narrow your search by adding keywords and narrow contact volumes. The search results display rate cards based on the given search terms. To maximize the benefits of using our service, you need to register first.
Search Results
The search results display different media publishers, listed by media name, media type, company name, subject areas, regions, reader/visitor profile and readers/visitors per week, as well as the rate cards’ lowest and highest ad prices. Clicking the media or company name opens the full company or rate card for each result in a separate window for a more detailed review.
In addition, yYou can sort the search results by media type, company, reader/visitor numbers and lowest/highest price points. In addition to the simple profile description, the publisher can choose to provide more detailed profile details among the search results. You can view the more detailed profile by selecting the “View Profile” link. Naturally, the same details are visible when viewing the actual rate card.
Selection Lists
Once you have identified the media publishers that interest you, you can select their rate cards in a separate Selection List (you need to be registered to do this). Rate cards that are added to this list will be saved during your session, so you can complete additional searches as needed and add new rate cards to your Selection List. You can view and compare all the rate cards on your Selection List, removing them if you wish. Once you are happy with your selections, you can move to the Campaign Assistant. The Selection List will be saved only for the duration of your login session. No personal information related to your selections will be saved.
Campaign Assistant
The Campaign Assistant displays all rate cards and ad positions with prices on a single page. You can select ad positions by typing either the duration or number of impressions in the provided text field. The Campaign Assistant will calculate your overall cost estimate based on the ad position prices, selected ad positions and/or duration or/ impressions.
The Campaign Assistant does not automatically calculate any special discounts like seasonal, member, or other discounts. Your estimate is calculated based on standard pricing for each ad position.
However, each ad position has an “own offer” field, where you can give enter your own offer for each ad position that you are interested in, based on your ad budget or level of interest in each ad position. Your offer can represent the level at which you would be interested in making a commitment.
At this point you can also see possible discounts that are available to you and factor those into your offer. The Campaign Assistant will show the difference of between the normal price and your own offer as a percentage alongside the prices.
Contacting the Media Publishers
Once you have selected the ad positions in which you would like to advertise, set your durations and/or impressions and, if applicable, made your own offers for selected positions, it is time to contact the media publishers. Making contact is made easy with our Contact feature.
The system will generate a message template that you can modify freely. Then the system will generate individual messages for each of the media publishers, using the message that you have entered and, attaching the appropriate information about the corresponding ad positions (e.g., duration, impressions, and price). You can edit each individual message, if needed, before sending. Those messages are sent individually to each recipient. A copy of all the sent emails will be sent to your email address.
All subsequent communication will take place via normal emails and/or phone conversations between you and the media contacts. Messages are not monitored or saved in our system.
